Inspired by the lives of countless females, I decided to offer an opportunity for women to find solace, guidance, and support as they find the truth about who they really are.  In preparation for this moment in time, I devoted much of my life to a study of the women I have met along the way, completed the required formal education (bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor degree in women’s studies, and master’s degree in social work), and earned the LCSW-C credential.

For the past 20 years, I have counseled individuals facing a variety of issues, including:

  • Infertility and adoption

  • Relationship challenges

  • Career coaching

  • Body image

  • Eating disorders

  • Aging

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Grief

  • LGBTQ+

I take a mind/body/spirit approach to any and all challenges that we face on a regular basis, and encourage self-care, mindfulness, and humor as effective coping strategies.

Working in partnership with each client, I provide structure and guidance via a variety of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, Gestalt, logotherapy, and feminist theory.

The fee per individual therapy session is $150. The WHC accepts Aetna, Cigna, BCBS Carefirst, and Medicare insurance.

Private-pay clients are provided monthly invoices of paid sessions to submit to their insurance providers.
